Solution

Dear Student

Water vapour is present in air but water exists in liquid state at room temperature because the temperatures at which water can transform to solid and gaseous phase is 0o and 100o C respectively, whereas at room temperature, the range falls between 25o to 40o C, thus, it lacks sufficient energy to transform into any other phase, thus exists in liquid state at room temperature.
