Subject: Increasing road rage in big cities
Sir
With great regret, I would like to draw your attention towards the increasing road rage and the threat it possesses towards the citizens.
Roads are already the least safe mode of transportation compared to airlines and waterways, and road rage adds another reason to make common citizens fear them. A minor scratch, a little push or even a small brushing past can lead to a scuffle, which sometimes even results in murder. Such incidents of road rage not only harm the people involved, but also hinder the smooth flow of traffic which results in time loss of countless other individuals. With honking at its peak and air as translucent as factory smoke, people do not remain calm in incidents that infuriate them. Without regulations and trained traffic policemen at road crossings and busy lanes, road rage is not likely to stop by itself.
I thereby request you to immediately look into this problem and do the needful.
Thank You
Yours sincerely
Karuna Singh
