Lower side frequency of Amplitude modulated (AM) wave is ωcωm2
Upper side frequency of Amplitude modulated wave is ωc+ωm2
ωc,ωm are carrier and modulated signal frequencies respectively.
Signal frequency ωm2 is present in the side bands.
Thus AM wave has bandwidth of ωc+ωm2ωcωm2 =2ωm2
i.e. twice the signal frequency is produced.
