1) Geographic region is divided up into calls.
2) 10 to 20 km across each using some set of frequencies. It is used in the analog or digital communication.
3)The system uses 832 full duplex channel. Each consisting of a pair of a simplex channel.
Advanced Mobile Phone Service (AMPS) is a standard system for analog signal cellular telephone service in the United States and is also used in other countries. It is based on the initial electromagnetic radiation spectrum allocation for cellular service by the Federal Communications Commission.
Analog or digital communication:-
Analog Communication is a data transmitting technique in a format that utilizes continuous signals to transmit data including voice, image, video, electrons etc. An analog signal is a variable signal continuous in both time and amplitude which is generally carried by use of modulation. A digital signal uses discrete (discontinuous) values.
