The correct option is A 4
The αdecay nuclear reaction: XZBX4Z2C+α+Q

where, B and C are the mother and daughter nuclei respectively.

Given: Q=50MeV, Ealpha=48MeV

Using: Q=Eα(Mα+MCMC)
we get, Q=Eα(4+X4X4)=Eα(XX4)

50=48(XX4)X=100

Hence, X25=10025=4
