Pollen grains or microspores are formed from microspore mother cell (MMC). MMC is diploid and undergo meiosis to form 4 haploid microspores which develop into pollen grains.
So, for 4 pollen grains, 1 meiotic division is required. Therefore, for 200 pollen, meiotic divisions required are equal to 200/4 = 50
