a=5,d=3,an=50

We know that
an=a+(n1)d

So,
50=5+(n1)3

(n1)3=45

n1=15

n=16

We know that
Sn=n2[2a+(n1)d]

Therefore,
S16=162[2×5+(161)3]

S16=8[10+15×3]

S16=8[10+45]

S16=8[55]

S16=440

Hence, this is the answer.
