In an $A P$ if the common difference is $- 6$ and the eleventh term is $15$ , then find the first term.

The common term is given as $- 6$ and eleventh term is 15, then,

$a_{n} = a + (n - 1) d$

$a_{11} = a + (11 - 1) d$

$15 = a + 10 (- 6)$

$a = 15 + 60$

$a = 75$

Therefore, the first term is 75.
