Solution: Option (b)

Let the first term be a, common difference be d.

t7 = a + 6d, t3 = a + 2d, t7 = 2t3 => a + 6d = 2(a + 2d) => a = 2d

t11 = a + 10d = 2d + 10 = 12d

t8 = a + 7d = 2d + 7d = 9d

So, required ratio = 12d: 9d = 4: 3
