Solution

The correct option is B
There are total 50 fish in the aquarium.

Out of these 50 fish,
Number of red fish = 15, i.e., 1550=310 fraction of the total fish in the aquarium are red in color.

Number of blue fish= 5, i.e., 550=110 fraction of the total fish in the aquarium are blue in color.

Number of yellow fish = 30, i.e., 3050=35 fraction of the total fish in the aquarium are yellow in color.

The fractions of different fish are summarized in the table below:
Color of Fish Number of Fish Fraction
Red 15 310
Blue 5 110
Yellow 30 35
Total 501 11

For calculating the angular proportion of different fish in the pie chart, we multiply the respective fractions by 360o.
Color of Fish Number of Fish Angular Proportion
Red 15 310×360o=108o
Blue 5 110×360o=36o
Yellow 30 35×360o=216o
Total 501 11×360o=360o

For the above calculated angular proportions, the correct circle graph or pie chart of the data is

Option (b.) is the correct one.
