In an electric circuit, the current flows from positive to negative terminal.
negative to positive terminal
In an electric circuit, the conventional direction of current is taken to be from positive to negative terminal, as conventionally it was believed that the protons are the ones that flow. Eventually, it was found that in a solid material, it's the electrons which are free to move and the flow of electrons is from negative to the positive terminal. The direction of an electric current is by convention the direction in which a positive charge would move.
