According to Faraday's law of electrolysis, the mass deposited is:
m=zIt,
where z= electrochemical equivalent of substance.
Here, in both cases, substance is silver.
So z will be constant.
Now, m1=z×4×(2×60)=480z
and m2=z×6×40=240z
Thus, m2m1=240z480z=12
or, m2=m12=m2
