Let the total marks be $y$ and pass marks be $x$.

From given data,

$\frac{25}{100}y=x-45$ ---(i)

$\frac{46}{100}y=x+\frac{15x}{100}=\frac{115x}{100}$ ---(ii)

From $\left(ii\right)$ we have,

$y=\frac{5x}{2}$

Substitute $y$ in equation $\left(i\right)$.

$\frac{25}{100}\times \frac{5x}{2}=x-45$

$\frac{5x}{8}=x-45$

$\frac{3x}{8}=45$

$x=120$

The passing marks is $120$.
