The correct option is A 22 % Let the maximum marks be x.
Then Pass mark for the 1st student =20100×x+5 Pass mark for the 2nd student =30100×x−20
Since pass marks are same for both the students 20x100+5=30x100−20 ⇒10x100=25⇒x=250
