Solution

The correct option is A Manan: 210.33; Soham: 152.65; Rajat: 37.67; Total = 400.65
Soham, Manan, and Rajta have scored different marks in the examination out of 500.

We can find the marks lost by each of them in the examination,

Marks lost by Soham = 500 – 347.35 = 152.65
Marks lost by Manan = 500 – 289.47 = 210.33 Marks lost by Rajat = 500 – 462.33 = 37.67

Now, we can compare the marks lost by each of them, and arrange them in descending order.
210.33 > 152.65 > 37.67

After getting the correct descending order, we have to find the total marks lost by all three of them,
Therefore,
Total loss of marks = 210.33 + 152.65 + 37.67 = 400.65
