Solution

The correct option is B 10
Let U be the universal set.
Let E denote the set of students who passed in English,
and M denote the set of students who passed in Mathematics.
n(U)=100
n(E)=75,n(M)=60 and n(EM)=45
n(EM)=n(E)+n(M)n(EM)
=75+6045
=90

Now, n(EM)=n(EM)
=n(U)n(EM)
=10090=10
