In a ΔABC , B=90

Now,A+C=90
So,C=90A
sin2A+cos2C=sin2A+cos2(90A)=sin2A+sin2A (cos(90θ)=sinθ)=2sin2A
Now, sin2A+cos2C=2sin2A=1 only when A=C=45
So it is not always true.
