In Arun's class, a thorough medical checkup of all student was conducted by a team of doctors which included a physical examination as well as their blood and urine test. On analysing the report, the doctors came to the conclusion that student A is suffering from goitre, Student B from diabetes and student C with dwarfism. What are the causes of suffering of ailments of students A, B and C? Also, give symptoms of each disease.

Student A is suffering from goitre. It is caused by iodine deficiency. It may also be caused by hyperthyroidism or increased secretion of thyroid hormones. Symptoms include swelling in the neck, difficulty swallowing, cough, difficulty breathing.
Student B is suffering from diabetes. It is caused by either absence or low production of insulin hormone or an inability of the body to use the insulin present in the blood. Symptoms include intense hunger, urge for urination, excessive thirst, weight loss.
Student C is suffering from dwarfism. It is caused by deficiency of growth hormone. Symptoms include short stature, short neck, flattened cheekbone, joint stiffness.
