The correct option is A self reduction
In Bessemer converter, the oxygen is not supplied in excess to the molten Cu2S.

The oxygen supply is done in such a way that 2/3 of the
Cu2S is converted in Cu2O.

So, in the absence of oxygen (limited supply), remaining Cu2S also reacts with Cu2O, to get reduced to copper.

The reaction is: Cu2S + 2Cu2O 6Cu +SO2.

This type of reduction is known as self-reduction.

Option A is correct.
