Solution

The transition from juvenile to the mature reproductive phase is under the regulation of hormones, similarly the transition from the active reproductive phase to senescence is also under hormonal regulation. For eg. hormones such as estrogen, testosterone affect sexual development or reproduction. Thus the transtion from juvenile to mature and mature to senescence is under hormonal control.
