Solution
Saline solution:
A saline solution is made up of saltwater.
When red blood(RBC) is put in a concentrated saline solution (more solute in the solution) it leads to the shrinkage of the RBC cell.
Due to the diffusion process which states that when a cell is placed in a concentrated solution, water moves from a high concentration of water (RBC) to a low concentration of water (saline water).
Due to this a red blood solution loses water and shrinks in a concentrated saline solution.
