Solution

The correct option is D Bundle sheath cells

Kranz anatomy is a characteristic feature of the leaves of the C4 plants like sugarcane, maize, etc. In this type of anatomy, mesophyll cells are not differentiated into spongy and palisade cells and have chloroplasts with large grana. These are involved in the initial fixation of carbon dioxide. Bundle sheath chloroplasts are large and agranal and are highly efficient in carbon dioxide fixation. Here the Calvin cycle takes place and therefore abundant starch grains are produced.
