The length of elasto-plastic zone of the plastic hinge is given by:

lp=L(11shape factor)

where,
lp= Length of elasto-plastic zone
L= Span

Shapefactor = 1.1 to 1.2 for Isection

lp=L(111.2)=L(156)=16
