Question

In case of projectile motion, we neglect air resistance. What changes would be there is we take air resistance into consideration?

Solution

If air resistance is taken into consideration, there will be a net drag in vertical as well as horizontal direction. This is because air drag depends on the velocity of the body and always acts opposite to the velocity. So, the acceleration in both horizontal and vertical direction will not be constant.
