Taste of Phenylthiocarbamide depends on the genotype of organisms. The homozygous dominant genotype (TT) tastes it bitter while heterozygous dominant (Tt) is supposed to taste it less bitter. The homozygous recessive genotype will not be able to taste PTC and it will be tasteless. The genotype “tt” is homozygous recessive which will not be able to taste it. Thus, the correct answer is option C.
