Solution
An equilibrium state of a system is considered when both of the chambers are having the same water potential.
In case if sucrose starts to diffuse out then it will move from higher concentration to lower concentration till a state of equilibrium is reached.
In case sucrose diffuse out through the membrane(from higher concentration to the lower concentration), the equilibrium also get attained because there is a movement of both the solute and solvent in opposite directions.
The diffusion of sucrose molecule would not or least result in the rise of solutions level.
