In charging by induction, side $A$ will have excess electrons as electrons get shifted towards the positive charge carrier.
When grounded, electrons from earth will flow to the sphere and will neutralize the positive charge.

After a while, we remove the grounding, the negative charge on side $A$ distribute themselves over the whole surface area.
