According to given information,
P(A)=40%=40100=25
P(B)=30%=30100=310
P(AandB)=10%=10100=110
The probability that the selected student study Mathematics or Biology P(AorB) is,
P(AorB)=25+310−110=610=0.6
Thus, probability that the selected student study Mathematics or Biology is 0.6.
