Solution

Dear student,

In cold the weather, the metal handle bars of a bicycle, feel colder to the hands than the plastic grips. This is so because of the difference in heat conductivities of metal handle bars and plastic.
Metal handle bars conduct out the heat from our hands at a faster rate as compared to plastic. Due to this loss of heat from hands, we feel colder on touching metal bars of a bicycle than the plastic grips.
