Solution

The correct option is C To maintain optimum temperature
As we moves towards the poles, there is a significant drop in temperature. In such areas which are subjected to extreme cold and heat conditions throughout the day, all kinds of crops can’t be grown well. To overcome this obstacle, closed indoor spaces made of glass or plastic houses, called green houses, are built. Heat from the sun is trapped in this house and optimum temperature (green house effect) and conditions for the growth of plants, germination of seeds, etc., are maintained with proper air ventilation even in adverse conditions.
