In countries like USA and Canada, temperature is measured in Fahrenheit, whereas in countries like India, it is measured in Celsius. Here is a linear equation that converts Fahrenheit to Celsius : F=(95)C+32
If the temperature is 0oC, what is the temperature in Fahrenheit and is the temperature is 0oF, what is the temperature in Celsius?

Temperature=0C
F=95C+32
Put C=0
F=95×0+32=32
So, if temperature is 0, temperature is Fahrenheit is 32F
Temperature=0F
F=95C+32
Put F=0
0=95C+32
95C=32
C=59×32=17.77
So, if temperature is 0F, temperature in celsius is 17.77
