In ∆ABC, D and E are mid-points of AB and AC respectively.
Also, DE||BC. ∴ By mid-point theorem, DE=12BC=102=5cm
Similarly, in ΔADE,FG||DE and G is the mid-point of AE. ∴ By converse of mid-point theorem, F is the mid-point of AD and FG=12DE=52=2.5cm
Also, GH||AD ⇒GH=12AD and H is the mid-point ⇒GH=12×BD (∵AD=BD) =12×6=3 cm
