Solution

Given: l(DE) = 5 cm, l(EF) = 6 cm, l(FG) = 7 cm, l(DG) = 3 cm and l(DF) = 9 cm.

Steps of Construction:
(1) Draw DF = 9 cm.

(2) Then, draw an arc taking D as centre and the radius 3 cm . Now, draw another arc with F as the centre and the radius 7 cm,
cutting the previous arc at G. Then, join GD and GF.

(3) Draw an arc on the opposite side of G by taking D as centre and 5 cm as the radius. Then, draw another arc with F as the centre and 6 cm as the radius, cutting the previous arc at E. Then, join DE and EF.

Thus, DEFG is the required quadrilateral.
