Consider the figure given.
Therefore, the area of triangle
=12×base×height
Area =12×AC×height
=12×b×h ...(1)
From the given data, BCA=300
Therefore, h=asinC
Substituting in (1), we get
=12×b×asinC
Substituting the values of a,b,C from the given data we get
Area =12(6)(4)(sin300)
=14(6)(4)=6 cm2

Hence, option D is correct answer.
