Considering the image we get
a+bc
=AC+BCAB
=(AD+CD)+(CE+BE)(AF+BF)
Now
AD=AF, CD=CE and BE=BF
Hence simplifying, we get
=2CD
Now

Hence 2CD=2rincircle
Or
rincircle=a+bc2.
