This is one of the kinds of germination in which epigeal germination is called epigeal germination in which the cotyledon or cotyledons originate from the seed coat above soil level. The radicle is the first structure to arise that, in the form of hypocotyl, heads into the soil. The plumule's development and germination are postponed. The hypocotyl forms a loop and then raises the seed above the surface of the soil. The seed breaks down to generate the two cotyledons. The cotyledons are kept above the floor and the 2 cotyledonary leaves are produced. The shoot's growth takes place afterwards.
