In dogs, barking and a normal tail is dominant over silent and curly tail. If a barker dog with normal tail which is heterozygous for both the characters is crossed with another dog of same genotype. What fraction of their possible offsprings will be barkers with curly tails?

The correct option is C 3/16
The genotype for silent dog with curly tail- bbtt.
The genotype for barker dog with normal tail- BBTT/BbTt.
Since, cross between heterozygous dogs is made, genotype of the parents is BbTt. The genotype of the barking dog with curly tail will be Bbtt and BBtt.
From the table, we can say that, out of 16 possible offspring, 3/16 will be barkers with curly tails.
