Draw a line $GH$ parallel to $AB$ and $CD$ passing through $E$

$\angle GEA=\angle EAB$ (Alternate angles)

$\angle GEA={65}^{\circ }$

$\angle GEC=\angle ECD$ (Alternate angles)

$\angle GEC={35}^{\circ }$

$\angle CEA=\angle GEA+\angle GEC$ (From figure)

$x={65}^{\circ }+{35}^{\circ }={100}^{\circ }$
