Solution

(i) Hexagon

Numbers of sides, n=6

Sum of the interior angles =(2n4)900

=((2×6)4)×900

=(124)900

=8×900

=7200

Sum of the exterior angles =3600.

(ii) Octagon

Numbers of sides, n=8

Sum of the interior angles =(2n4)900

=((2×8)4)×900

=(164)900

=12×900

=10800

Sum of the exterior angles =3600.

(iii) Pentagon

Numbers of sides, n=5

Sum of the interior angles =(2n4)900

=((2×5)4)×900

=(104)900

=6×900

=5400

Sum of the exterior angles =3600.

(iv) Nonagon

Numbers of sides, n=9

Sum of the interior angles =(2n4)900

=((2×9)4)×900

=(184)900

=14×900

=12600

Sum of the exterior angles =3600.

(v) Decagon

Numbers of sides, n=10

Sum of the interior angles =(2n4)900

=((2×10)4)×900

=(204)900

=16×900

=14400

Sum of the exterior angles =3600.
