All books are journals (A) conversion some journals are books (I). Therefore conclusion I does not follow. Again All diaries are journals + Some journals are books = A + I = No conclusion. But some diaries being books is a possibility exists Therefore, conclusion II follows.


So, only conclusion II follows.
