In fig 5.23, PQRS and ABCR are parallelogram if P = 110°, find the measures of all the angles of the parallelogram ABCR.

Consider the figure given in the question of two parallelograms PQRS and ABCR
Here,
PQRS is a parallelogram. [Given]
And,
P and Q are adjacent angles of the parallelogram.
Now,
P + Q = 180° [Adjacent angles of a parallelogram are supplementary.]
110° + Q = 180°
Q = 180° – 110°
Q = 70°
Now,
P = R [Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal.]
P = 110°
Thus, we have:
R = 110°
And,
Q = S [Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal]
Also,
Q = 70°
Thus, we have:
S = 70°
In parallelogram PQRSPQSR Opposite sides of parallelogram are parallelor, PQARSPRQ Opposite sides of parallelogram are parallelor ,SPAB

Thus, we get:
A = S = 70° [Corresponding angles]
A = C = 70° [Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal]
B = R = 110° [Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal]
