Show that areaABE=areaACE:

Given: AD is the median of ABC.

So, It divides ABC into two equal-area triangles.

Now,

areaABD= areaACD1

Also,

ED is the median of EBC.

Therefore,

areaEBD= areaECD2

On subtracting equation 2 from 1, we get

areaABD - areaEBD= areaACD- areaECD

areaABE=areaACE

Hence proved that areaABE=areaACE..
