$\Rightarrow$ Side of a small square $2r=2\times 2=4cm$

$\Rightarrow$ Area of big square $=(side{)}^2=(14{)}^2=196c{m}^2$

$\Rightarrow$ Area of a small square $=(side{)}^2=(4{)}^2=16c{m}^2$

$\Rightarrow$ Area of $4$ semicircle $=4\times \frac{\pi r^2}{2}=4\times \frac{3.14\times (2{)}^2}{2}=25.12c{m}^2$

$\therefore$ Area of shaded region = Area of a big square - Area of a small square - Area of a 4 semicircle.

$\therefore$ Area of shaded region$=(196-16-25.12)c{m}^2=154.88c{m}^2$
