In fig. if $AB||CD$ then find the value of $x$.

From the figure we have, $\angle EPB={180}^o-(5x-{20}^o)$......(1)[ Since $\angle BPE+\angle QPB={180}^o$]

Again $\angle PQD=\angle QPB$ [ Similar angles]

or, ${180}^o-(5x-{20}^o)=2x-{10}^o$

or, $7x={210}^o$

or, $x=\frac{{210}^o}{7}={30}^o$.
