The correct option is A $23^{o}$
Since two angles are supplementary their sum is $180^{o}$
$∴ 5 x - 3 + 3 x - 1 = 180^{o}$
$8 x - 4 = 180^{o}$
$8 x = 184^{o}$
$∴ x = \frac{184}{8} = 23^{o}$
