The correct option is D 80cm2
Area of quadrilateral ABCD= area of rectangle AECD+ area of BEC.
Now, AE=DC and AD=EC
AB=AE+EB
13=DC+EB
13=7+EB
EB=6 cm
BEC is a right angle triangle.
Therefore, BC2=BE2+EC2
102=62+EC2
EC2=10036
EC2=64
EC=8 cm
Now, BEC=12×BE×EC
=12×6×8
=24cm2
Area of rectangle AECD=AE×CE
=7×8
=56cm2
Area of quadrilateral ABCD =56+24 =80cm2
