The correct option is C 6.125cm2
We are given that radius of the quadrant =3.5cm

Area of the quadrant AOBCA
=14πr2

=14×227×(3.5)2

=9.625cm2

Area of the triangle AOD
=12×base×height

=12×OA×OD

=12×3.5×2cm2

=3.5cm2

Hence Area of the shaded region =Area of the quadrant-Area of the triangle AOD

=9.6253.5

=6.125cm2
