Given:
The block and tackle system consists of 5
pulleys,
L = 5T and E = T
Hence, Mechanical advantage
$M . A . = \frac{l o a d (L)}{e f f o r t (E)} = \frac{5 T}{T} = 5.$
Thus, the mechanical advantage is equal to the
number of pulleys in both the blocks. i.e., 5.
