Solution

The correct option is D amylase
The process of break down of complex macromolecules of food into simple absorbable micromolecules is known as digestion. This process is catalysed by enzymes. Amylase, pepsin and lipase are various digestive enzymes. Amylase is produced by the salivary glands and pancreas. It aids in the breakdown of polysaccharides (starch) into disaccharides (maltose).
Just like humans, the gastric juice of frog is composed of pepsinogen and HCl which is secreted by the gastric glands of stomach. Pepsinogen (inactive) is activated into pepsin in the presence of HCl. Pepsin initiates the process of protein digestion in the stomach. It breaks down proteins into polypeptides which are later broken down into amino acids. The pancreatic lipase digests fats. Lipase converts triglycerides (fats) into glycerol and fatty acids.
