Area of $△$ABD = $\frac{1}{2}$$\times$base$\times$height
= $\frac{1}{2}$$\times$(BD)$\times$(Perpendicular from A to BC)
= $\frac{1}{2}$$\times$(BC+CD)$\times$(5)
= $\frac{1}{2}$$\times$(6+4)$\times$(5)
= $\frac{1}{2}$$\times$10$\times$(5)
= 5$\times$5 = 25 $c{m}^2$
